Attendee Offer from Presenter Valerie Jones

Valerie M. Jones will share her fundraising training method, Golden Ask with attendees on May 1, 2018 at the annual conference.

Val, a noted philanthropic consultant with 25+ years’ experience, has delighted audiences from Baltimore to Beijing with her dynamic presentations. Her upcoming book, Nonprofit Hero, is based on The Golden Ask, which builds on your strengths, enabling you to fundraise authentically and successfully. In the Golden Ask, you’ll learn who, how and where you should ask, as well as the fundraising step where you’ll shine. Although designed for board members, development professionals consider this a great guide to “making the ask” themselves. You can learn more about Val and her training: http://vmja.com/talks/.

Val has generously offered to provide an in-depth Asking Personality Profile for any attendee who sends their Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) by April 20. I will collect the MBTI’s and submit to Val. If you don’t know your MBTI, Val suggests you can take the official online version http://www.mbtionline.com/ ($49) or take a free one, which should be close enough for Val’s purpose
