UCP National Welcomes New CEO, Armando Contreras


UCP is excited to welcome Armando A. Contreras, former CEO of UCP of Central Arizona, as the new President and CEO of UCP National!

Save the Date for A “Speak for Yourself” Workshop September 22, 2017 in Washington, DC!


As part of UCP’s “Speak for Yourself” initiative, we are proud to announce our second “Speak for Yourself” workshop on September 22, 2017 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at The National Youth Transitions Center. This day-long workshop will feature discussion and presentations to engage and educate advocates on the Patient-Centered approach, self-advocacy, and the potential for patient-centered research within the disability space. UCP of Tampa Bay Puts the Focus on Family-Centered Programs


On the Voices of UCP blog, we spoke with Laura White, Executive Director of UCP of Tampa Bay, about inclusive education programs. Through their Quality Counts for Kids program, which serves over 150 children each year, UCP of Tampa Bay not only incorporates the needs of the children in their program but also focuses on helping to ease stress for parents.
